Amazon Alexa
To establish a connection with an Alexa device:
Long press the power button to turn on the Alexa device and enter the “Setup mode”. Once the device enters the setup mode you will likely see a visual indicator such as a coloured light on the Alexa device.
On the TouchOne home page, navigate to “Setting-> Bluetooth” and pair with the Alexa device.
Navigate back to TouchOne home screen and launch the Alexa app from the app carousel
Select the device tab. To add a device click “+” sign from the top right corner.
Select “Amazon Echo” from the list of devices.
Now select “Eco dot” from the list of Amazon Eco device list.
Select yes.
Select the same Wifi connection to the Alexa device as of the TOMU device.
The device connection is established.
LogiTech Harmony (v5.7.5)
This app is only available in Portrait orientation and does not support landscape.
Spotify
If using Spotify, you should mount the device in Portrait mode. Most menus work in landscape except for the Media Playing screen, which in later versions of Spotify are locked to Portrait only.
UNV EZView
If using EZView, you can mount the device in Landscape, however the login screen is Portrait only.
Be sure to turn off "Pause Video Automatically" in Settings > Local Config to stop the stream from pausing.
Vantage Controls Equinox
This app is only available in Portrait orientation and does not support landscape.
The application will remove the bottom navigation bar from the user interface, making it difficult to navigate out of the app. To exit the app without power cycling the device:
You can select any text box within the Equinox app which will bring up the keyboard and the bottom nav bar.
Available in Beta 2.4 onwards: Using the swipe gesture, either swipe down from the top of the screen, or up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the bottom navigation bar then press the "home" icon".
Other Important Information
The Sleep function is still a work in progress. Putting the device to sleep and waking it up will take a few seconds. The performance of this should be improved in future versions.
