Problem

App does not display in portrait orientation

Problem

By default the Hik Connect app displays in landscape orientation on the TouchOne device and does not dynamically pivot to landscape orientation.

Solution

This is a default feature of the Hik-Connect application. There is a setting within the app that allows you to control the app orientation.

  1. Launch the Hik Connect app on your TouchOne device

  2. Select the More menu

  3. Select the Settings option

  4. You can control the app orientation by changing the Tablet Mode setting:

    1. On = landscape orientation

    2. Off = portrait orientation

This feature has been observed in v4.3.1.0404 of the Hik Connect app. Is is possible the app developer may change this feature in a future release of the application.
