Symptoms

The Touch One startup and reboots continuesly reboots continuously.

Problem

The TouchOne is unable to boot due to:- Address conflict, Loose connector wire, wrong software version installed.

Solution

  1. Remove the TouchOne from the wall mount. Be careful when pulling the TouchOne away from the wall not to stress the attached cable.
  2. Look down the back of the enclosure for the Red flashing Alive LED
    • Ensure the correct address has been selected on the Touch One
    • Ensure the Green and Yellow wires are wired in the correct order on the Bosch Alarm Panel
    • Ensure the Four pin connector is properly connected to the back of the Touch One Screen
    • The alive LED on the back of the Touch One should be flashing at a regular interval
    • It will be helpful to use a short wire and connect the Touch One directly to the Bosch Alarm Panel. Check the Alive LED is flashing. If this test is successful, the problem may be with the wire run between the Alarm Panel and the Touch One Screen

    3. Reinstall the Touch One software using an SD card with the correct software version.

  • Power down the Touch One device.Insert the SD card into the SD Card slot on the Touch One device.
  • Re-power the Touch One and all the installation to complete.
  • Remove the SD card and power cycle the Touch One Screen
  • The Touch One should load the new software and present you with a welcome screen
  • Follow the on screen instructions to set up the Touch One Screen

draw enough current from the Bosck Alarm Panel.

    Solution

The Bosch Panel can supply a maximum of 1 Amp current to externally attached devices (Touch One, Keypads, etc)

Should the Touch One not receive enough current it will continue to reboot.

    • Install a stand alone power supply for the Touch One Screen. (The Touch one Screen requires a 12v 1A power supply.)
