Kiosk Mode

Some customers want to run a single application on their TouchOne device, and restrict access to this app only.  This can be achieved by configuring the application as the kiosk app.

When an app is designated for kiosk mode:

  • The user cannot background the application, or navigate away from the application.
  • The bottom nav bar will display, however the 'home' icon is not available.
  • The user can adjust the brightness and volume settings from the Quick Settings menu, however the user will not have access to the Settings application.
  • To exit kiosk mode, the user must first enter the device's PIN code to verify they can make this change.
